Delius hat eine Auswahl solcher Catches auf Instrumente übertragen. Das Kanonspielen ist ein besonderes musikantisches Vergnügen bei selbständiger Stimmführung und kann den Instrumentalunterricht auflockern und beleben. Die Melodien dieser Ausgabe sind von vitaler Frische, leicht zu verstehen und zu spielen.
